Sebastián Abad Jara is Ecuadorian and a attorney with AIDA's Ecosystems Program, working from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is a graduate of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador. He also holds a Master's degree in International Law from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Sebastián has significant litigation experience in constitutional, environmental and human rights law, both in international civil society organizations and in the public sector. He is a researcher on issues including decolonizing law, the rights of nature, the rights of indigenous peoples, and  business and human rights.
