Andrea Geraldine Vinatea Artola

Attorney, Human Rights and Environment Program

Andrea Geraldine Vinatea Artola is Peruvian and an attorney with AIDA's Human Rights and Environment Program, working from Lima. She is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a specialist in Environmental Law and Natural Resources from the same university. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Law from the University of La Rioja, Spain. Andrea Geraldine has significant experience in community accompaniment, consulting and strategic environmental litigation in the criminal and administrative areas. In addition, she uses advanced technological tools, such as drones and satellites, to support her work in evidence collection. She has collaborated with several non-governmental organizations in Peru and is a member of the Peru Sustainable Finance Hub of the Climate Finance Group for Latin America and the Caribbean.
