Santiago Cané

Attorney, Ecosystems Program
Santiago Cané is Argentinean and an attorney with AIDA's Ecosystems Program, working from Villa de Merlo, Argentina.  He graduated as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), where he also obtained a degree as Professor of Legal Sciences. Santiago also completed postgraduate studies in hydrocarbons, energy and sustainability law. He was a lecturer at the Legal Clinic for Migrants and Refugees (CAREF-CELS-UBA) and coordinator of the civil association Abogados Culturales. He also worked as legal assistant at the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI) and coordinator of legal affairs at the Environment and Natural Resources Foundation (FARN). Santiago collaborates with civil society organizations working with vulnerable social sectors.
