Yeny Rodríguez Junco

Yeny Rodríguez Junco is Colombian and a senior attorney with AIDA's Territories Program, as well as Coordinator of the Mining Area, working from Bogotá. She also coordinates the  Environmental Justice Network in Colombia. She is a lawyer and human rights specialist from the Universidad Externado de Colombia and holds a Master's degree in Development, with an emphasis on environmental development, from the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, Netherlands. She worked at the Colombian Constitutional Court and was a consultant for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. She has extensive experience in litigation, legal advocacy and public law.

Camille Legrand

Camille Legrand is an intern with AIDA's Freshwater Program, working from Mexico City. She holds a Master's degree in International Development, with a focus on socio-environmental conflict and energy issues, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. In Mexico, she has experience as a researcher on the development of wind mega-projects in Oaxaca and on water issues in Cuatro Ciénagas, Coahuila.

Sofía García León

Sofia Garcia Leon was an intern with AIDA's Human Rights and Environment Program from Mexico City. She studies Law at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where she focuses her learning on international human rights law and environmental law with a gender and intersectional approach.

Verónica Méndez

Verónica Méndez Villa is Mexican, a senior attorney with AIDA's Climate Program, and Coordinator of the Clean Energy Area, working from Mexico City. She is an attorney from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana of Mexico and has experience in environmental litigation and research with an emphasis on climate change issues. Verónica holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) in environmental law from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and she is currently studying Renewable Energy Engineering at the Universidad Abierta y a Distancia of México. 

Oliver Cook

Oliver was an intern with AIDA's Marine Biodiversity and Coastal Protection Program in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He studied law in Germany and now works as a lawyer in Berlin. He has a strong interest in nature and wildlife conservation.

María Paula Conrado Martínez

María Paula Conrado is Colombian and a scientist in AIDA's Ocean Program.  She is a biologist from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. During her studies, she made proposals for marine conservation projects in the Colombian Pacific, involving local communities. At AIDA, María Paula contributes to biodiversity conservation efforts and the proper management of natural resources.
