Yeny Rodríguez Junco is Colombian and a senior attorney with AIDA's Territories Program, as well as Coordinator of the Mining Area, working from Bogotá. She also coordinates the  Environmental Justice Network in Colombia. She is a lawyer and human rights specialist from the Universidad Externado de Colombia and holds a Master's degree in Development, with an emphasis on environmental development, from the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, Netherlands. She worked at the Colombian Constitutional Court and was a consultant for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. She has extensive experience in litigation, legal advocacy and public law.
